PvE Rules

These rules cover all PvE activities in Insidious space — ratting, mining, exploration, and capital use. The General Rules apply everywhere; these add PvE-specific requirements.

Standing Fleet

If you are conducting PvE or are in the Standing Fleet, you are expected to have a combat character ready — or at least be able to reship to a combat ship in BKG-Q2 — to respond to a home defense ping.

If there is no Standing Fleet, you should put one up. If an FC arrives, defer Fleet Boss to them. Before you go AFK as Fleet Boss, hand it to someone active. The fleet must be open only to alliance members and +10 standings, and fleet details must be hidden.

Don't be a dick applies. No discussions of religion or politics in fleet chat.

Ratting

Ratting, exploration sites, and mining are restricted to Insidious sovereignty and communal space. You are allowed to run escalations spawned in any friendly space.

Havens are priority for AoE ratting [1] such as smartbombers and/or Edencom. Other sites are first come, first served. There is exclusivity: the first AoE ratter in a system has exclusivity on Havens until they pause. Coordinate amongst yourselves in a private chat.

Sites like Forsaken Rally Points, Forsaken Hubs, Rally Points, and Dens are not affected by the priority rule.

[1] A group of 3 or more characters, consisting of any mix of smartbombing ships, Stormbringers, and Thunderchildren.

Exploration

Use [EVIL.] and communal sov space. [EVIL.] sov is restricted to [EVIL.] members only.

No cherry-picking — finish all cans so the site despawns and the next site can respawn. If you don't want the loot from a can, you may abort the hack after initiating so the can explodes.

Mining

Public moons are taxed based on the specific moon ore type and must be paid as either Jita-split reprocess value sent to Corp of Management, or by contracting the respective percentage of each moon ore type to Corp of Management from your main in BKG.

Equipment Restrictions

Crystals or any non-zero residue equipment are not allowed on ores above R16, including T2 strip miners without crystals on moon ore. B-type modules must not be used on moons. Mining drones other than the Mining Drone I are banned on moons.

Cherry-picking Policy

Cherry-picking is strictly forbidden in our sovereignty and on moons, with the exception of NPC system moons. Cherry-picking is defined as not mining from one direction of the belt and leaving the "bad ore". Miners must choose one direction and mine through to the other end (left-to-right or right-to-left).

Do not mine moons during Home Defense or Strat Ops.
